This project facilitated the first time measurement of metrics and when the first results were made available they came as a shock: The Swaziland Electricity Company validated the results and found out that Coca Cola Swazialand achieved a discrepancy of less than 1%.
Once this was established, the organization completely bought into the system.
The Value of InTouch HMI and SmartGlance
The InTouch system keeps operators informed on the exact real-time status of the plant and its various departments. Management is then kept informed on their smart phones via Wonderware SmartGlance mobile.
This allows Coca Cola Swaziland to study the cause-and-effect scenarios which were previously invisible to everyone.
