Having the traffic light and transportation system integrated into the Smart City solution, the folks at Carson City are able to get real-time status of all the traffic light conditions not only in the city itself but also in three different counties. This enables the cities maintenance staff to always know what's happening at any time. Since they are able to get alarms and events through their mobile phones, they are able to address concerns much faster.
